Dude just keep working on it, you'll figure it out. It doesnt really sound like its hitting a rev limiter it would be much more choppy wouldnt it? could it be blowing out the spark? what is your gap set at? that is fucked up but just keep narowing it down.

is you map sensor disabled ?? but im guessing tps i turbod a ls and it ran fine but first test drive it fucked up the tps and it would on rev to 5500 and sound all choppy becouse of the w/g, after i swaped the tps out it ran like a raped ape (got a speeding ticket for 76 in a 25)

how do u disable your map sensor?? Im postive its not though. But im deffiently trying the tps today to see if thats it!

Wasnt the tps, wasnt the intake air temp... and there is oil comming from somewhere either the head gasket or the rear main seal. There is oil around the entire top of the tranny i thought it was from the rear mail seal and the flywheel was somehow flinging it around and somehow getting on top lol... or could a head gasket be causing all my problems Or no way??

so any of u have any idea if a bad headgasket could be my problem?? Could the gasket somehow blow out and cause it to spew oil everywhere too?? I replaced the head gasket and put arp head studs on it and then about 4 months ago and about 3 weeks later is when all this started happening.

Distributor seal or o-ring. Looks like a timing problem in the video. I had a similiar problem before.

nah the oil aint leaking from the dizzy! That was the first thing i checked. almost every car ive owned did that ---- lol. But umm for the timming problem what would be your guess is off? The timming belt not lined up? Or something with just the timming on the dizzy? Ive already checked both but if there is something specific i should check for go ahead tell me! Thanks bro!

there is a hole under the dizzy housing that oil can leak from if it gets by the internal seal.
try another dizzy? if not, try that. You can try mine out
are the plastics on the block stock z6 ones?
I would take the crank pulley off and both plastics.
check the arrow on the oil pump and the mark on the timing belt pulley. they should line up for tdc.
check the cam gear third line and make sure it lines up with the arrow on the plastics.

alredy tried 3 dizzys (all my friends lol) lol but the plasitics are the original z6 ones. Last time i checked it all ligned up but i will deffiently try that later today! O yea and it only does this when it warms up! It wont do it if its colder. But it will still be really slow just wont cut out at 6000!

could this be something in wiring harness?? I mean ive pretty much tried everything but a new harness.
