...i've seen a lot of "t28" turbos on ebay then i see the identical turbo listed as a "t25" whats the REAL difference between the 2?

The wheels are different. The t28 has bigger compressor and/or turbine wheel. The t28 will support more horse than a t-t25. Its like comparing a 14b and a 16g turbo. I think i got that right.

what compressor a/r and/or trim does it start being considered a t28 then?

If I remeber correctly, A t28 is a factory-hybrid turbocharger. It consists of the exhaust side of a t25 mated to a t3 compressor, if my memory serves me right.

It's basically a Mini-Me T3-T4, with a t25 turbine side and a t3 compressor side. Unless you are talking about a DSM t28 or big T28 which are upgraded factory T25's from second gen DSM's with compressor wheels and ported exhaust housings.

ok im confused, i have a t25 compressor and t3 exhaust....so what is mine?.....did i get jacked?

Sounds like an ebay 'special.' (i.e. someone sold both resulting hybrids from mating a T3 with a t25.)
