B17? Isn't that the super high fuel economy motor Good luck with that thing. A friend of mine has one and I smoked the ---- out of him without the turbo. Sorry to bag on your ----. It sounds like you are on the right track. I couldn't tell you which turbo is the right one for you or your car. I don't think anybody actualy could. It all depends on how far you want to go, how much boost you want, what else are you going to do to this motor.....etc...etc...

Maybe I am wrong. I am thinking of the newer 1.7 vtec motors. What year is your car?

B17... the bastard B-series...

basically a B16 w/ a different crank

92-93 gsr's had them, pretty rare cars.

Basically I would go with a larger turbo, since all B-series vtecs love RPMS, and need to breath, a larger T3 or a hybrid turbo.

get a turbo off one of those T-birds, expecally if its a manual tranny that would be a great size turbo, its a 60 intake and 63ar exhaust. the autos have a 60/48 and i will be putting one of those on my B-series when i get it (i will be doing the 'small' one cuz im getting it for cheap)...
