WHAT times are YOU running?

what 1/4 mile times are you running?

please post:
PSI
motor
important factors which cause you to run those times (i.e. gtech timed?, weather?, tire compound? tranny? lsd?)

If i do this right, I think I can hit low 14's on 8 psi of boost on a 1.5 dseries...FMU, injectors, intercooled, etc. i've seen a d16z6 on stock internals do mid 13's (don't know what the boost pressure was, but i think it was more than 8psi).

thanks,
chris

Re:WHAT times are YOU running?

16.2 @ 90 MPH :(

Best trap: 92 MPH

But this is with a 4 door Corolla... They run 19.5's stock. Here's a list of things that WILL get me into the 14's:

1.New clutch. My Centerforce was slipping badly, so I couldn't launch it well without heating it up to the point of slipping the rest of the way down the track. My 60' times were ~ 2.8-2.9's. At least its good to know that my car's making enough power to absolutely destroy a brand new Centerforce clutch in 2 months.

2.Better manifold. My header leaks like a ------- seive.

3.Better fuel management. I have a 12:1 FMU that makes my car run richer than a ----------er.

I don't wanna make excuses, but a car that is laying down trap speeds in the 90's should be running at least mid 14's. This spring I plan on adding the 450's with the FTB (Fuel on a Trailerpark Budget) hack, welding up a new manifold, and getting a better clutch.
