what stage turbine wheel?
my main thing is that i baught the t3 t4e 57 trim turbo from down2turbo off ebay, and after my warranty is gone i plan on upgrading the exhaust housing to a 63 trim housing, i am just hoping that it will fit correctly and everything 2ndly is there any place that i can get a 60ar or 70ar intake housing that will fit over the 57 to4e compressor wheel, i have a 70 ar intake housing from a t4 but the wheel is like 2-3mm's bigger than the whole is so i know there is no way in hell it will work.
hey sorry for the O/T, but i PM'd/emailed you BMC regarding info about the manifolds and havent gotten a reply...i'm really interested in purchasing one but have a few questions, if you can get back to me through PM or email me at infinityracr@hotmail.com, i'd really appreciate it...thanks
well turbine wheel stage has an = affect as a/r. however even with a .80 a/r a stage 1 wheel is only 48mm in diameter meaning that even though your housing is huge internally it still has to flow thru that damn tiny wheel. that should answer 2 questions with one stone.
When you buy a stage 1 turbo kit and a stage 2 and so on what is the diffence? I just thought bigger wheel different houseing. Maybe better manifold and misc. stuff like that but whats the true difference? Just better top-end and a bit more lag?
