What size turbo for a mustang?
Hey guys my bro is going to turbo his mustang, but we need to pick out a couple of turbos for it so any suggestions. I do have a turbonetics t3/4 turbo but it would be pricey to get another one.
some guy not to long ago did a twin turbo stang built, he got a pair of snails from www.blaastperformance.com
Single HX-40 and be done with it...don't listen to the idiots reccomending t76's and you won't need a any "88" series turbo.
Depends on what you want to do with it...what kind of t3/t4 is it?...you can use powerstroke turbos...hell with a pair of .42/.48's a guy went 11's with them....60/63's are usually the best for home made projects but you are going to have one hell of a time with doing that with a 4.6...I'd do a decent sized single, like a masterpower t70 and make a crossover into where the stock airbox will be....What kind of power? what kind of fuel management? what year 4.6...stock?...auto or stick, intercooled, water/meth injection, you're leaving a lot out there for people to guess on...

Well it is a stock 4.6 stick, hes looking to make about 400whp and as fuel management goes he's going with fr 42lbs injectors. He has a pair of headers that hes going to cut the flanges and flip over if we do a twin setup.
