What is the bases for safe EGT's i've heard 1.5-6k is getting pretty dangerous?
I happen to be running right around that area at WOT with a sohc, probe is on #3 about 2inches off the runner running 10psi, 11.8-12afrs and about 17deg. timing. Any input fellas? planned on going to bug juice here soon.

6k is probably a little hot, but 1.5k at WOT is fine.
