I think that UR messing w/me, with the amount of posts that U have.
But just in case. The MBC's R usually of the screw based bleed off type. Which R static. They won't compensate for fast acceleration. So U'll go over your boost setting.

The boost aware FPR (oppossed to the B&M variety) R more for your tuner, if U have a good piggy back fuel Mgt. system. I started my turbo project w/a B&M FPR. After tuning my E-Manage on a Dyno, it required subsequent trips for the map to be touched up for the low end. On one of my upgrades I swapped out the B&M for an AEM. The guy that does my E-Manage mappings told me that he usually sees more of the Aeromotive/AEM style FPR for boost applications & that most maps R based on their usage. On my B&M he had to make a one off map. That's Y I had to get minor touch ups.

lol, cool. I've never heard of boost sensitive FPR and I didn't know Aeromotive/AEM where any different than a normal FPR. good to know, although I don't see why you wouldn't just keep your FPR stock, seeing as how your tunning with the emanage. hahaha, anyway yeah I don't know jack ---- about the emanage, what car did you use it on?

lol, anyway, yeah I wasn't sure If EBCs kept boost from spiking, compared to a MBC. but I don't understand what causes boost spike.

I've got an E-Manage in both my
'93 DelSolSi SOHC, 14G turbo
'97 Eclipse GST, 20G Turbo (30 psi)

If U have a good tuner, the E-Manage does it's job. Problem is Greddy is still reluctant to train "UnAuthorized" personnel. My Tuner normally does Haltech & Hondata. From that experience he has mastered the the Greddy.

To my understanding on M/E BC's; The electronic versions have (what some define as) intelligent boost sensitive circuitry that regulates the bleed off so that the user justs feels an even increase.
