What kind of oil restrictor are you running?
---- the valve restrictor, get the one from atp turbo, that's the one i run and there's no 'tinkering' bull ----, just screw it in and go and no chance of starving your turbo for oil.
I ran the valve, it worked ok, but then the threads broke off in the oil takeoff..
threw it in the trash, bought a normal restrictor... like .50 or so..
my turbo still smokes, I think it is because of an assload of crankcase pressure, when I take the tube from the valve cover or PCV vent off that goes to my catchcan, it pushes air out pretty hard..
gonna add a couple of vents to the front of the valve cover..

ive been battling a smoky rig since i put my ------- turbo on.. it doesnt smoke all the time, when its warm and when the turbo is making boost. first i tried the oil restrictor (the handle kind but mine was from homo depot) that didnt fix it so i swapped the turbo for a known working one and now its still smoking. compression is 190 190 180 190.
i guess its the valve seals?
