What kind of oil restrictor are you running?
After about 1,000 miles, my turbo is smoking bad with a "Nitrous" restrictor, after the car warms up and the oil pressure drops, it's fine. I moved my restrictor to the back of the block and that helped for about 50 miles, now the problem is right back. Anyone needing to restrict more than what this restrictor can do? I hate to choke the turbo, but this smoking ---- sucks.

Below 40psi it doesn't puff any smoke, but when i get it above that point, it starts pouring it, especially at cold idle. I have never heard of a nitrous restrictor not being enough, people normally bore them.
It was a new turbo.

i just took the fitting that screws into the top of the turbo, and i tapped some threads into it, and screwed in a set in screw then drilled a whole in the set screw... i have three setscrews all with different sizes, so i can adjust it which ever way...
i did this after tuner toys wouldn't ship to canada....
cheers..

It has to be something other than the feed, i attached a clear tube for the drain, about 30 seconds after starting, in comes a glob of oil into the drain. I'm running two of the nitrous restrictors that should be more than enough, but i know it's getting enough oil.
I heard the ones with the valves are kind of a bitch to work with because you have to play with.
There is one that atp sells, which is just an oil inlet restrictor, but with no valve.
I guess both could be useful, but without the valve takes out the guess work.
