Alright, I cant help it.. I usually just sit idlly by but this one is just too much.... Save the fricken money. I drove around with the MSD SCi with blaster coil and MSD wires and yadda yadda yadda.... Two years non boost then one year boosted. Here is what you get when you get MSD ignition items:

Possibly a good deal up front on a used item $100 or less
The requirement of changing your cap, rotor, wires every 30K miles becuase you cant figure out why it misfires at idle.
Buying a new blaster coil every 20K +/- 10K miles because they suck and fail leaving you with a no start situation.
When you do get it running on the bad coil, it shuts off on you while youre driving at 60+mph and when it comes back on it throws a nice flame.
Wires plain suck, they fail faster than the coils in leakage. So after a year or so of driving at my rate 40K miles a year, you have bought the whole system twice if not three times... Just dont bother, MSD has to high of a failure rate and it shows no significant gains.

I'm more of a hands on guy I'll see if I can find you some info on the ford coil on plug, its a msd system up to 2000ish(cant remember exactly) rpms then it goes back to conventional. If you hook up a scope and dont know that you will be in for a diagnostic nightmare :P

Didn't read all the thread so I could be repeating what someone else said...
All you need is stock ignition, right now I'm running 402whp, on pump gas and full exhaust with a cat, only thing done to the ignition side of things a colder plugs (8's) and msd wires. No msd needed. Also one of my friends from JD Racing is running over 600whp, on a stock ignition also. If you really think you need an ignition upgrade you would be better off to go with individual coils, but unless you plan on going with HUGE power you won't ever need those either.... Stock ignition FTW!!

Lets make it very simple. If you fill a room with gasoline fumes and the AFR is stoich, and you light a match, do you really think you are going to need to light the match again? Seriously, the only time you need a second ignition event if the first one failed.

The only MSD product I've heard anything decent about is that new one. http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1585765

There are no better plug wires than OEM, fact.
