water temp gauge question?

Default water temp gauge question?

I have an autometer water temp electrical gauge it came with two bungs my question is were do i hook up the bungs ( b18c gsr motor in a civic stock rad so I cant use that any other ideas block , cylinder head mayby tap into the existing temp sensor? ) please help

Your best bet is to drill the breather in the water neck and tap it 1/8th pipe. Thats what I did.

what do u mean water neck? cant i just run the wires and splice the of the stock temp sensor? I heard thats the easiest way?

use the ------- wires that came with the sensor and call it a day.........damn.

tap it into your header, Works 10x better there.

---- all that tapping, and hacking. just buy a 3 way tee and stick the new sensor into the hose that goes to the water pump main line in back of the block, clean and discrete, no hack job.cheaper and less headache, if you don't understand i'll take a pic

I have mine run off of an adapter installed in the rad. hose.
