What I have so far
The rims are 15x6.5 pretty ideal for a crx from what i've heard...If money wasn't so tight I'd definately grab a tail, are the knock offs reliable? That will probably be the first upgrade i do, I just have to use what i have right now
pheonixb16aguy I'm not using the FMU I only have it cause i orignally was going to now I am gonna go chipped ecu with turboedit
Speedracer32 what i have is the boost controller not the AFC but from what I'v seen the first gen AFC where just one **** and i guess you adjusted it from that didn't seem like it was very good!? I don't know...
Can anyone suggest a sive trim for the comprssor wheel, if i swap the .42 to a .60 a/r housing I am going to swap wheels but what would be best? what do the svo turbos use that have the .60 housings? ok thanks...Matt

as they said before 50 trim but whats the point of doing that since you'll have to rebalance the entire shaft when you put on a new wheel? It'll just cost more money. Just slap on the compressor housing and call it a day... if not that then sell your turbo and get a .48/.60 or T3/T4.
If I leave the wheel thats on there will I notice any difference if i just swap housings?? If I upgrade to a 60 trim will I gain much, I know I will have to rebalance so I will either swap housings and wheel before the install or do it afterwards, this isn't my daily driver so I can mess around. I already have the spare housing and I have a T3/T4 that needs a rebuild its a .70/.48 which is too big for a d series or I am told it its. Thanks for the help guys...Matt
P.S. anyone know where I can buy compressor wheels from? I'm having trouble find them, ebay even has a very limited selection

Is that a .70 compressor with a .48 turbine? Cause if it is than thats definitely not too big. Whats the trims on the wheels? I'm running a .60 compressor and a .63 turbine 57trim on my D-series with 8.0:1 comression.
Whitey its a T4 .70 A/R housing does that make any difference?? I was told it will lag a lot...but i'd take your work over most peoples.
Paul99ex the wheels came direct from the warehouse so I don't think Stealthmode had even touched them to not ship them on time

Is it a .70 compressor or is the turbine .70?? I bet its a .70 compressor and I'll also put $20 on it that that turbo came from SSautoshit.
The turbine is really what decides the spool time, the compressor is more the CFM side of it. You can usually oversize a compressor and get away with it easier than an oversized turbine

Damnit.
Where the hell did you get a turbo with those numbers?? Thats an oddball combo so its alot rarer than the usual 60/48's that came with all the turbo kits. That would be really good on a D series and I would get it rebuilt and run that. your spool time will actually be really good with that 48 turbine
