well from what I have seen, the cars that the transmissions are holding the longest, have the following characteristics:

- Light this is the number one savor of the transmission, the lighter the car the less strain on the parts.
- Car setup, something that launch's smooth, and is smooth down the track, if it bounces it will even break that $30K xtrac.
- This is kinda car setup kinda not, but SOLID mounts, keep that ---- from moving around.
- Carbon/ Carbon twin disk clutch, the engagement is MUCH smoother then a carbon / metallic twin disk, keeps the shock load down on the launch.
- Spool or LSD, for a full track car the spool is stronger and cheaper.

**If your running clutch less shifting with a strain gauge**
- Making sure the EMS you run allows you to control how fast the ign cut comes back in, so you can have it hit progressively.

Some of these things are about the class you run in, some are about money, and some are about time. With that being said there are a number of LIGHT cars in the deep 9's @155mph+ on stock b trannies (stock gears, with a lsd or spoo)l with 50 + hits on them.

As Spiker continues to prove NOTHING is unbreakable.

CC twindisk. Love it... Running a Tilton Flow control valve to aid in shock loading as well...

Ya it woirks... ITs not shock killing the trannys, its just raw power... They arent breaking on the shifts... Its unde poweer... I think 90 % of tyhe board would be VERY suprised how well my car hooks up.
