Default what gauge thickness for flange

i just went to a shop and 16 gauge was pretty thick.. but not sure if we can use it as a flange for the turbo manifold.. what size thickness should i get..3/8 thickness is like 000 gauge isnt that too thick??

3/8 or 1/2 is what you want - are you making some because i sell them

header flanges are 16.00

turbo flanges are 12.00

you want at least 3/8 i have a turbo manifold made on a 3/8 mild steel flange and it still warped, now i'm paying $60 to have it milled flat.
