How come no one ever posts writeups on their homemadeturbokits anymore?

those were my fav part of this site.

I mean.. I know they arent anywhere as rare as they used to be,and it seems every yokel out there got a 14b or t25 on their car, but still, theres gotta be some that shine above the rest that deserve to be posted up with some nice pics and details on the setup.

just a thought.

 

it's nice to see someone else's... even if it's shitty... sometimes it's fun to look at somebody's stuff and go "damn, that's even shittier than mines"...

 

true that ,i got a getto projct going right now . Its a 88 s-10 with a 1986 isuzu impulse turbo on it.I fabbed the exhaust mani myself along with the piping and the airbox. I incorporated the impulse intercooler on my fender well and gonna cut the hood and make kinda like a WRX setup.Originally got the truck to put a 383ci chevy but funds are low so spent no money so far on the turbo inline four just time.Amazing what the cobonation of lots of parts/lots of time and no money will do to the mind.I am also curious to see how much the stupid thing will handle before it explodes and if it handles the meeger amounts of boost i get out of the little impulse turbo im gonna put a little blue bottle to it and then see when is the point of desintagration.call me sick but i enjoy it!
