2) Do you have traction at 15 psi? Have you tried the "I" tread Mickey Thompson drag radials yet? Big Kahuna at 18 psi with total traction in second gear on a built 2.0 LS/VTEC is a very happy thing, sold me on Mickey drag radials for my CRX... who knows, 15 psi might not be enough
3) I've seen problems like you describe by running a manual boost controller meant for an external wastegate on an internal wastegate.
