what electric boost controller to use?

i have been thinking about getting an electrinoc boost controller because my HMD manual one keeps spikeing to 15psi. i tried to adjust it but it's either 2psi or 15, it stays at 7-10 until i get above 4500 rpms then shoots to 15.
need somebody to recommend a nice cheap electric one that works good.

get a better manual one. spend the rest of the cash on something better, like cheap used tires for burnouts.

I have the Greddy Profec B spec II. This thing is great. On the fly adjusting. Low and High settings. Boost cut, warnings and tons of other features. I would highly recommend it.

personally i dont see the need for adjusting the boost pressure often enough to need an electronic. plus the rom editors these days have boost cut features i believe.

Then dont ------- use one. :P Its really nice to be able to adjust on the fly. Climate changes and such effect boost. I run 7 psi daily and at the touch of a button can run 10psi. I can also tune out any boost spike with it.

1) Electronic boost controllers suck.

2) Do you have traction at 15 psi? Have you tried the "I" tread Mickey Thompson drag radials yet? Big Kahuna at 18 psi with total traction in second gear on a built 2.0 LS/VTEC is a very happy thing, sold me on Mickey drag radials for my CRX... who knows, 15 psi might not be enough ;D

3) I've seen problems like you describe by running a manual boost controller meant for an external wastegate on an internal wastegate.
