Default what do you think about the FMU+pump setup?

Just wondering what you guys think about this as far
as reliability goes.

I mean, I know the afc hack, or a computer system would be better, but thats all out of my pricerange.

I just dont want to finally get my kit together and then kill my engine an hour having boosting.

I've got a d15b7, and plan on 7psi(but 5-6 to start off with, to make sure everythings running right).

I duno.. any thoughts are very welcome

FMU's good, cheap, and reliable. The main setback is that you can't tune it.

I have a d16 running 8 psi with the vortech fmu and under boost it runs rich. Was going to install a 255 lph but decided not to and the car runs great 3 weeks of boost now.

dang is that a good idea? i was told that with a turbo setup you HAVE to upgrade the oil pump to a 255 at least...

you've only been running it for 3 weeks so lemme know if anything happens...

is there anyone else who has ran a turbo setup without upgrading the fuel pump?
