I have a 00 SI with b16a2 in it. Me and a friend put a t3/to4e turbo kit on it. We fiinished up yesterday. I didnt put the dsm 450s in (yet) just to see what it would do with the Apexi safc. I only set the boost controller at 4 psi and gauge shows 4psi. Car ran pretty good. No cels, no skipping, just ran like it did when it was na, but with a little more kick. I wanted to wait till I can get to the dyno before I put the 450s in but what do yall think. I know, know one likes the afc hack but its the best i can do till next month. Ive have drove it for a couple days and not problems yet, Pull the plugs today to see how they looked but all seems good. I didnt think the stock injectors would work and that they would peak out because of load. What do yall think.

Im going to up the boost as soon as i get them in and a half way decent tune. I just went out again, spooled great no studdering, no cel. Power seems to be good. Im confused. I thought the injectors would fail and it would drive like ----..

 

Sometimes you just get lucky. My shatbox is a cobbled chunk of terbo Saturn, but it runs better than most stock turbo turds. go figure.

 

i love the hack ---- a chipped ecu unless u have a handful of dynos in your area my fmu and stock injectors did me good

 

There aren't any fuel maps for boost on your ecu, if your map was seeing boost it would go into fuel cut and then limp mode. I wouldnt drive it unless you would like to replace your motor.

 

I know 4lbs isnt much, but With no wideband, and nothing to pull any timing, I would be very very careful, and not try and go into boost. Stay in vac as much as possable untill you throw the 450cc and do something about pulling some timing.
