i can hear my turbo surge and the bov not blowin off. what could be possibly wrong? need help guys

Vacuum line not connected, or crimped. or the BOV sucks.

What kind of BOV is it? Some are not loud, you might be hearing the BOV not compressor surge. Whats your boost look like after you let off the throttle? Whats it do when You let off and get back into it?

its a greddy type s(knock off). thats what i was thinking its the bov that i hear. boost gauge not intalled yet

cheked but no leaks in the vacuum. also i dont hear it when the car is at a stand still while reving the car, what does this mean?

before installing the bov i tried pressing the valve to open with my hands but its very stiff even on the softest settings

sometimes the knock off ones need one of the inside springs taken out for it to work and set somewhat loose. all the ones i messed with had the same prob.

ok i took out the bigger spring which is stiffer. il try it out tomorrow and hopefully hear that sweet sound

hold up....before we go removing springs... did you loosen up the adjustment on the top. On my knock off type s I was able to adjust it so tight that it stayed closed or as loose as a gypsy's vagine

ok my bov works now but not as loud as i expected, maybe because its not boostin enough? i took out one spring, ill be installing my boost gauge later tonite

yeah at lower boost there not that loud. my friends sounded good at anyhting above 6psi
