i don't have a filter or screen, i'm just lazy and have the gay ford .63/.60 that requires the factory elbow with flange, i would like to run a filter if someone dropped the elbow off at my house and i had to put absolutely no effort towards getting it, other than that, no filter for me :P

use some panty hose ;). i never got around to getting a filter so i threw a piece of screen on it and never though about it again. if you mess up a turbo, it's not that big of a deal because you can get another for pretty cheap (since it did come from the junkyard in the first place). but if i had a pimp ass ball bearing turbo i would run a filter no doubt.

eh even if the turbo came from a junkyard i'd still baby it. i'd be to worried about it messing up my motor or something and on a DD i can't afford that

If you can't afford to mess around then slap on a filter. If you don't really care then use a screen. It's really just a matter of opinion and I've never heard of anybody ------- up their turbo with a screen on anyways. Heck Projekteg has neither. :P
