Re: What to do about a filter on my turbo
You will see fan clearance issues from the turbo housing, not so much the filter. The filter issues are more with how much room you have on cold side of the turbo.
Noone can really tell you anything as a fact, you just have to make things fit for you. This is the stuff you have to do when you don't buy a kit. The engineers at Greddy, edelbrock, ect. figure these little things out so you don't have to. Doesn't really seem worth it to me. |
Re: What to do about a filter on my turbo
it's more fun figuring stuff out anyways... last time we had to do it, we made our own turbo manifold in 2 hours

^^^ I had one of those for a while until it melted and felt apart on me. I also had it right on my comp housing so that might of played a part being heatsoaked from the mani.

Re: What to do about a filter on my turbo
WHY THE HELL DO YOU GUYS RUN NO FILTER/SCREEN MESH
you gain what.. maybe like 1-3hp at most. and at what cost guys.. cmon ----.. do you really want to suck something into your turbo. chip up your fins.. have them tear up your pipes.. is it really worth it? ---- why would ppl even think of doing that. that makes no sense to me what so ever unless the car is STRICTLY track. srry.. just thought i'd voice my opinion |
Re: What to do about a filter on my turbo
