I just picked up a b18a1 block with JE pistons 10:5:1 compression and eagle h beam rods for $400 so I didn't want to pass it up. The internals have 15K on them. I want to tear it down and get some lower compression pistons and new bearings. I was thinking around 9:1 compression. What is everyone running on there built blocks?

Still in the process of building my b18...I'm going with 9.5:1 though with a little extra bump on top from a b16 head.

That's about what I was thinking. I was going to grab a b16 head and something in the 9 range.
