welding WG Flapper shut?remove hot side or not?????
well im going external WG after have problems trying to hold 20 psi on the internal one.
well i have to weld the flapper door shut, do you guys pull the turbo apart(remove the hot side from the cold,, everyone know how fun the t3's are to pull apart, 6 bitch bolts) or just weld it with the turbo still together, anyone ever have problems after welding it shut,,, like worping,ect,ect.

I doubt you're gonna "worp" an exhaust housing by welding the flapper shut. I'd just weld it while it's together as long as you're retaining the flapper door. Shove a wad of aluminum foil into the turbine hole to keep slag outta there.
