There's already water in your combustion chamber. Its a law that ANY combustion reaction creates water vapor.

Water injection even comes stock on the WRX STI
water injection comes stock on my mustang right through the headgaskets

If you're gonna spray watr, put it where it does the most good -> in the engine.
From there if you find your cooler<s> getting hotter than you want, you can take your water injection kit & easily add small sprayers for anything else.

I see some of the questions on here and i wonder..does anyone read anymore? In about 5 minutes on google or simply looking at some of joseph davis' post these water injection question could be answer. Whitey i didn't know the STI had water injection? I'll have to read up on that.

The WRX STi doesn't have water injection, it has a water sprayer over the interwarmer.

someone said that a dry nos fan nossle sprayed pre-IC would blow the motor... BULLSHIT! i thought of that a few years ago just because i had a dry setup on the car b4 the turbo project and still wanted 2 use it. i run a 40 shot on top of 5 psi on a dual point d15b2 with no problems!
Honestly, i was trying 2 blow it up at first cause i had a d16z6 on the way, but that little under fueled bastard still held up.
