Default Rebuild Kit

Has anyone here actually done a rebuild? I have a turbo that has blown seals but seems to be well balanced...no shaft play....so was wondering if it was a good idea to do it myself...and any reason that a turbonetics turbo would be harder than a regular t3? i know the kit is different, as the shaft is larger ( damn...twice the cost)
thanks

it's pretty straightforeward, just go slow an don't use too much force on anything. As long as you get the right kit it should come with everything you need to replace, and should be similar to a T3. I actually need to replace the turbine end piston ring in mine this week

scribe or use a paint marker on the shaft and compressor wheel before you take it apart. so you can line it up again after.
