Default water line hookup

I know u dont need to hook these up but if u do, is it better to go to block or is it better to have seperate water tank with its own pump. I heard people say its not to good to run antifreeze through turbo PLEASE enlighten me

It really shouldn't matter what you run through it.

I would just tap a collant line and be done with it. Seems like a PIA to make a cooling system for your turbo.

not sure who you heard that from but i'd stop listening to them. Think about it, almost all factory cars (like mitsu's for example) use liquid cooled turbos. And what do they use for that liquid? hmm engine coolant :P

Some people go through the trouble of using a blanket to keep the turbo hot. Others prefer to run water through it to keep it cool. I'm "on the fence" on that one.

no ----, i was just going on the assumption that eveyone knows turbos use oil, and if they don't know that then they're gonna have a nice paperweight.

I always run coolant lines if its a water cooled turbo. run it off the lines to the throttle body, doesnt take long to hook up and it makes me feel better :P

i think that is the best way to run coolant to the turbo. and then just return it to the t-b
