water line hookup
I know u dont need to hook these up but if u do, is it better to go to block or is it better to have seperate water tank with its own pump. I heard people say its not to good to run antifreeze through turbo PLEASE enlighten me

Re: water line hookup
It really shouldn't matter what you run through it.
I would just tap a collant line and be done with it. Seems like a PIA to make a cooling system for your turbo. |

i run antifreeze through my turbo, stays green...everything works fine ;)

Re: water line hookup
Some people go through the trouble of using a blanket to keep the turbo hot. Others prefer to run water through it to keep it cool. I'm "on the fence" on that one.

Re: water line hookup
it really depends on your turbo if your using a mitsu turbo your onna wanna hook them up they have a tendancy to go out on most dsm's just tap a cooling line and be done with it or a block lone in your head

Re: water line hookup
I always run coolant lines if its a water cooled turbo. run it off the lines to the throttle body, doesnt take long to hook up and it makes me feel better :P
