Re:Water Injection - THE FACTS!

It's a 50/50 mix... I mix it up in an old windshield washer container... well I put in 1/4 gallon of windshield washer fluid and a 1/4 gallon of bottled water... shake it up and feed it into my reservoir - btw it seems the saab intercooler can hold just a little under 1/2 a gallon of water :P before the lower tube will start leaking.

I need to find an aluminum welder here, so I can get it sealed off, I imagine it could hold another 1/4 gallon before overflowing out the top.

Wait so you mean to tell me you are burning windshield washer fluid too? WOW. That is brave. Have you seen the crap they put in the washer fluid?

I read the contents... believe it or not, the wal-mart windshield washer fluid is actually the best... its mostly methyl alcohol and a little bit of water.

told everyone so ;D, too bad you guys don't work with water injection on rotaries because that's all i know how to tune, and for rotaries - inject as much water as u can until the car starts bogging (don't trip, rotaries don't hydro loc) booging = too much fuel, then you raise the boost and timing, and have fun! be safe on safe side.

i use water from safeway, distilled. alcohol is better though, burns more slower that way can create more torque (our friend).

Pictures will be up on WEDNESDAY, as well as a write up on where you can order your parts... and kinda a walk thru.

I would suggest looking for a windshield washer reservoir that will fit in the engine bay, and finding a way to mount it -> most of the pumps are gravity fed so keep this in mind.
