Re:Water Injection - THE FACTS!
don't really think an intercooler is necessary, I mean you can only cool the air so much...

Re:Water Injection - THE FACTS!
I'm really lookign forward to seeing pics and an install guide like you said. It would be a good item to put in the projects page :)
I used to think about water injection until I read "maximum boost" it really talks down on it in there. Whatever helps though I'm there :) so get us some pictures and some instructions! |

Oh ya! I'm gonna run direct port water injection! lol 50 shot forsuraaaa
Hey whatever works right? Steve in our turbo projects was running 10psi on water injecton and no intercooler on a DX.. I would consider it, but I have never even touched that ---- before :-X Plus my intake hardly even gets hot at all. Jeff |

Re:Water Injection - THE FACTS!
bottled water for my car it is :)
Its raining today or I'd have gotten pics :( I think an intercooler + water injection would be a good way to reduce temps back to ambient... but the water injection does more then the cooling the methyl alcohol creates a better burn in the engine and cleans off the cylinders/piston surfaces... Pleas eforgive me for not having the pics up yet... |
Re:Water Injection - THE FACTS!
Chacko,
are you using water or methyl alcohol in your setup? |
Re:Water Injection - THE FACTS!
