I started to talk about this in another thread but i think it deserves its own. I know im a noob so please dont flame. i will link you to **** for any good relavent answer. Is it to risky to go with a knock off wastegate? any one have any sugestions? I have used the search but came up with nothing.

ive ran 3 of the china knock off wastegates without any issues. Just make sure the manifold you use has a good wastegate placement.

 

+1 mine had shitty place ment and the ---- broke and about 200 feet back from my car was a wastegate that got OWNED

 

Just pull the gate apart and check it out before you run it.
Loctite all the little set screws on the inside and you should be good to go.

Some people use them with no problems but it is a part i refuse to cheap out on so i say get a good one not a knockoff. Get a chinese bov or somthing else
