Sorry for the simple questions, but is there an advantage to having a larger wastegate?

Thanks, and I did use the search, I have searched for almost 8 hrs, on this project and that's just on this site! I have seached for 5 to 6 hrs on another site aswell! Sorry for asking!!!!!

 

u can get boost creep runing with larger WG too.. i think it's used for cars runing with low pressure cuz you need to pass more exhaust gas out that in the engine (in the case runing with a good turbo, not smaller)..

i think it's depend too what setup are you runing.
