walbro fuel pump and o2 question in civic vx
i just installed the walbro 255lph fuel pump. before i installed it, the stock fuel pressure was at 42psi but now that i installed the pump, it shot up to 55psi. i thought to myself, might as well go buy a b&m regulator. got that installed but could not go down any psi at all. any clues to why this happened? also is it normal for the 255lhp to bump the pressure up? i just took my car to the track and it ran great. a week later i check the plugs to see if i am running rich and they are a light grey color but its not in clumps. i am using bosch platnums. also i need help with the stupid vx 5wire o2. i have d16z6 in my vx. when i swapped the motor in everything was fine, no cel. then i installed a/f gauge, it would just stay on the last green and not move back and forth. at half throttle its yellow. at wot its at the last red. i think it has something to do with the 5wire o2 in d16z6. but now the o2 is dead and cel is on, code 41. i was thinking of hooking up a 4wire o2 since the vx one is dead. any help would be great and if theres a thread somewhere hook me up. sorry for the long post. just figured id run one post only.
10psi isnt much, but I dont think thats causing the problem, I would get another O2 and see if that fixs your problem. Your A/F gauge should be bouncing back and forth like and under WOT, it should be a tad in the green, or in the stoich.
You couldnt drop the FP with the B&M? You should be able to? are you sure its installed correctly? I have been able to setup a car running 20ish psi with one of those.

yeah i couldnt drop the pressure with the b&m. i am going to uninstall and reinstall this weekend to see if i did something wrong.
as for the o2, right when i installed the a/f gauge, it atleast moved but now it doesnt move at all. i guess that would mean that the o2 is dead, cel code 41. any idea how to convert the 5wire into a 4 wire o2 or to make the 5wire work right with the p28?
