Default VW turbo Help

Hi guys i have a 1983 VW GTI with a 1.8 8v motor i want to do a Turbo/weber conversion on it, i already have the twin 40mm webers on the car, she runs good but i have always being a Turbo fan, ive never seen a VW with a weber/turbo kit so i was wondering if any of you have seen one and in what way can you guys help me.

I know this was a few weeks ago but, but Chrysler has already done all the work for you.
They had R & D do a lot of research and came up with a great motor to fit the VW GTi and up to 224 hp.

Same size as the 1.8 GTi motor and nearly same engine bay dimensions...should be one or two knocking around you could buy cheapish.

cool thanks but i want to use the VW engine and the weber system i already have. but ill also look into it. ty
