I think that is what he means also, cause most OEM turboed cars have the BOV routed back into the intake.

ya moron, the BOV is routed back into the intake its not compressor surge!!!!!!!!!!! keep up the good info jackass.

the way he stated it,i thought he meant taking out the bov alltogether, that would cause compressor surge.my aploigies

My friend has an APR chip, intake, greddy BOV, and IC-to-intake manifold pipe and his car runs almost 18psi and falls down to 16 at redline.

His $950 cat-back and downpipe with be here today, man VWs sure are cheap to mod, hehe...

I know... He's one of those "non-HMT" kinda guys that just likes to bolt stuff up and go, but in his cases he's going to have some VW techs "bolt it up", hehe...

Sohc 16V 1.6L 10psi honda civic
vs
1.8L Dohc 20V 18psi VW GTi

Guess who wins, hehe

I have less money in my turbo system than he has in his new exhuast ( which should make him faster than me ).

What ever...

I even offer to do all the welding to built him a manural bent exhaust for free !!!

Ready for the best part
