I have a vortec fuel pressure regulator.. but it does not seem adjustable.. any input?

 

The Vortech FMU is not adjustable, you have disk's that change the fp. You can get 12:1, 10:1, 8:1 ect.
You can get the vortech S-FMU that is adjustable, they both kick major ***, I run the Vortech FMU with 12:1 rising rate. Hope that helps

That helps a lot.. but how do i know what disc is already in there.. and what disk should i put in there when the only fuel management is the FMU fpr and an inline fuel pump?

 

They actually do kick major ***. If you have the money for standalone or piggy back unit go for it. But they are by far the best thing preceding, and are very reliable.

Also you can get a kit from vortech of all the raising disk's for like $30 and you can get single ones also, I am not sure how you can tell the difference.

 

try running them with a decent amount of boost
