ya a tial or ssqv bov of some sort ... i could be wrong but i really think its just a bov ... the compressor surge i have head sounds alot different and cause alot of popping

i dont know much bout either a bov or surge but that def sounds like a bov this talon had and i was told surge is when you get that fluttering sounds and i heard both so im gunna so with tthe guy that said surge because of bov

I personally think is sounds like a BOV. You could remove the BOV, duct tape it up real real good. Then listen to the sound (which would be compressor surge) and see if it sounds like exactly like the sound you have now. If same sound . If its a different sound.

or just put ur hand next to the bov and if u feel air comen out ur good
