the motor is built and the turbo is on the way .now the way the motor is now i can hear some chatter unlike my friends car.we are running the b16a2 heads on ls blocks (*duhh+).since the motor was built i have not made any changes to the valve lash.what should be the IDEAL measurements for the valve lash with boostand with out?.
b18a - pr3 pistons(99 si) stockgasket - 99 si head

Valve lash? that should be stock in all cases, unless you have some different camshafts that require a different adjustment.

so whats up with that chatter.........is louder than usual......the timing is on right and all?

I have no idea... chatter could be a bunch of things, I cant hear it, so I cant tell you what is wrong. You probably didnt adjust them right, it just takes one of them to make all that noise.

when i said ideal imeant stock,the original valve lash hasnt been move.is 99 si head, the block and the head hasnt been shaved or anything.
