That's for electronic boost controllers like I said in my original reply. You don't have to worry about that if you're using a manual controller.

man so all this time everyones been telling me to connect it to brake booster when i shouldnt be ?? so technically i can connect it to cooler?
and top one ill just leave bare which is fine bcuz im not running any controller |

Connecting your wastegate pre-throttle is for women and homosexuals. It slows spool time and limits part throttle boost. Yes, it does prevent part throttle compressor surge, but so does not driving like an idiot and trying to make 20psi at 30% throttle.
