Default using boost gauge on safc

i'm installing my kit soon and will be using the "hack". can i use the boost reading feature instead of a boost gauge? will the boost reading be an exact reading or will it need to be corrected based on the negative settings for the fuel tuning? should i not worry about this and just get a std boost/vac gauge?

Yes, it does work but it reads in bar (mm kg), and not PSI.

mm/kg^3 isn't quite Bar, but it's so close I wouldn't worry. 1.02 conversion factor.

Just keep in mind that the AFC is going to max out where the MAP sensor does - +0.65 for 85-91 MAP and +0.75 for 92+ MAP. You can push more boost and run very lean without knowing it - you're only as good as your instrumentation.
