Oh crap, I like carnage pictures but that looks bad.
If all goes well I am taking the corolla to englishtown this sunday. I want to add 8-10 lbs of boost and see if it holds up. I may end up posting some of my own pictures!!

WTF? So it snaped the rod, but doesn't look like the bearing ate it first. Score one for pauters, I guess?
I'm also puzzled - how was that considered a sleeved block, or is the front page the *future* build? A benson/darton/ge/etc sleeved block would not have any of the aluminum shroud left around the sleeves, at least not half-way up the cylinder.

Can you state for the record, again, what you were revving this engine to? I'd like to point this thread out to the next ****** who says stock Honda rod bolts are weak, when your rod obviously broke across the beam.
Hey, is this a B18A or B18B block?
