You should get one of those cheese ball hood scoops that looks kinda like a subaru one and stick it on the top of your hood right above where the intercooler is. If you chop a hole in the hood right under the scoop, you'll end up with a subaru style top mount intercooler setup. The scoop might even look kinda cool and it's acually functional. Just an idea, I don't know how hot you are in the idea on hacking up your hood.

has anyone ever seen that done?
i was thinking about something like that, like buy some of those mold on vents and cut a piece outta the hood. It would be ghetto'd ricer looking but it would probably help cool down engine bay

lol, theres a shop by my house that installs those, and sometimes they come off and ---- and ---- up, so they started drilling holes under the scoops so the air had somewhere to go. lol.

Even if you make a scoop you would still have to seal off the intercooler from the rest of the engine bay a bit, bacuse when you just sitting there, there will be no air moving over it.

Ya i was going to hack my hood to put a wrx style scoop but thats a good point about sealing it off!
i went and cut some fenderwell off right under my IC and with a hole on top through the hood you guys think this would be allright for airflow?
