Default type s Style BOV surge/leak

hi i have a type S style BOV

it sweeks alot when in vac
if tightend up it surges/ no sweek

i took apart the whole bov
my question is

with stiff and or soft spring alone
i still cant push the piston up all the way
it only opens alittle, is this how its spose to be?

i ddint even screw the adjustment **** on yet and its so tight

lol there is a pin whole in the back of alot of them for some reason the needs to be clogged ... thats what was wrong with a friends .. however he didnt want to "mess it up with jb weld" so he wraped it in electrical tape dsm owners ftl

u mean the extra valve?i broke that one off LOL(boost assit)right?
