Turned compresor housing HELP

Can i turn the compresor housing if i grind down the little nipple thing that makes it so it wont turn.Its a td05h turbo 1st gen.thanks

don't grind the tab off. just figure out where you want the housing to sit and mark where the tab would hit the housing, then get a dremel and SLOWLY notch it so it fits where you marked it. voila! now you can run your charge pipes however you want.
