Have you had your nitro motor apart? Do you understand how the ports work? Turboing one is pointless along with supercharging. Either just get a better motor, send yours out for porting or even port it yourself. I always ported to stock junk engines that came in trucks and the gains a great, but the engine die even sooner than normal.

A turbo should work on a 2-stroke. the hot side is also under pressure so its not like it will just blow the mixture through, but you will loose the tuned exhaust system, so the gains will probably be nothing. Nitro burns cold enough you could also probably get away with a wick oiled turbo, but then you still run into the issue of finding a turbo the size of a nickel.

Whoever had the supercharged truck, did you ever take the charger apart? I want to know what kind of pump is inside it.

turbos DO work on 2 strokes, there's no should work, or doesn't work about it.

i would think you would want the turbo after the expansion chamber so you would still have the "tuned exhaust effect" wheres whitey. he is the only person i know of that has turboed a 2 stroke (i know there are lots more, but he is the only one i know of)

you would, because the expansion chamber is what closes off the exhaust port on the cylinder. even though it's open, the pressure wave keeps the boost from all rushing out the exhaust.

rawr said it.... enough said you would want to draw through the card or setup a bleed line off of the turbo/superchanger in order to pressurize the fuel tank...the exhaust already does that on nitro cars...but i don't imagine it's a substantial amount of pressure

So does a dime sized turbo exist or no? I think that'd be step one before aruging about how to do it or whether it will work. If the turbo doesn't exist then you're SOL whether it's a good idea or not.
