I never see n e one boosting these engines what turbo would spool the fastest on this thing

 

Click on the link in my sig. that teo4h spools at around 2500 rpm, full boost by 3,000. Oh by the way that kits for sale, let me know if you want it.

 

mine is boosted with a .42 .48 t3, spools 8psi by 3000, pulls great up top as well. pulls the same from 60mph all the way to 120 4th and 5th.

 

ahaha i have a .48 .60 t3 and it hit 8psi by 2200 - 2300 in 5th full load, with a 2.0L engine. i give all the credit to blasstperformance for putting together an insane turbo.

 

48/60 T3 is undeniably the best all around turbo for D series.

 

or even better tbird manual t3 .63/60 I think pulls like a raped ape all the way till redline and you can drive it around town without hitting boost too much without wanting to, Hit 10psi at around 4k in a Y8 HF with 2.25" exhaust

 

The GT17 off a newer Saab spools ridiculously fast. A 13g or t25 Mitsu turbo will spool nice too, but the top end is ---- on those turbos. They're right, a .48/.60 will provide the best of both worlds.

 

If you only want FASTEST spool, then probably a 9b or k03. But I bet those would die off up top even on a d15. Any small turbo will spool fine. T25, 14b, t3 .42/.48., ihi rhb5, 13g, 15g. The .48/.60 is a great all around t3 though.

 

i have to agree, i loved it on my stock y7, i had it at 8psi, and it started spoolin hard at 4500, then hit full boost at like 5k.
