I recently turned up the boost on my turbo from 8 to 12 lbs for a few races, and now when I start the car up and start going into boost it makes a whining noise. It only does it for maybe about 30 seconds though. I also did notice if I drive the car around for about five minutes w/o going into boost it won't do it all. Does anyone know what this could possibly be l

 

it either could be nothing or the comp wheel hitting the housing

 

starving for oil? Do you have an oil restrictor? Such a slight increase in boost as that shouldnt make it make extra noises.

 

check the fins on the turbo see if they are bent or touching anywhere....
