Turbo whine?

I recently turned up the boost on my turbo from 8 to 12 lbs for a few races, and now when I start the car up and start going into boost it makes a whining noise. It only does it for maybe about 30 seconds though. I also did notice if I drive the car around for about five minutes w/o going into boost it won't do it all. Does anyone know what this could possibly be ???l

it either could be nothing or the comp wheel hitting the housing

starving for oil? Do you have an oil restrictor? Such a slight increase in boost as that shouldnt make it make extra noises.

check the fins on the turbo see if they are bent or touching anywhere....
