btw...the corrections are not exactly mathmatical to fueling...the correction is correcting the voltage to the map and not nec to the injectors even though by correcting the map voltage you are indirectly correcting voltage to the injectors. when i finally got my car to idle correctly and run smoothly in lo throttle i mathmatically came up with the settings of -46 which should make it equivalent to 240cc injectors, but things change greatly when you change open/closed loop and use preset fuel table voltages going to the injectors. maybe my ecu is adding more voltage to the injectors and fueling more than normal...or maybe my 450cc dsm are just fubar'd.

if anyone has some new/freshly reconditioned 450cc injectors to donate to the experiment i would be willing to swap them in to see if the settings need to be changed or if they remain the same.

i went ahead and updated my most current corrections/settings and they look even scarier. i also added a disclaimer because they probably won't work on someone elses car and i don't want someone to use my tuned settings and blow their sh#t up.

remember folks set initial settings safely rich and WIDEBAND tune and lean them out to a safe afr.

i live in canada.. come drive up here and i'll go for a ride lmao. Glad (and a little astonished) to hear it runs that good with your settings. Is your fuel pressure modified (pump, fuel lines, FPR) ?? that could affect those settings aswell.

Where are u located.. higher alt could also affect those.

this is the screwy thing...i have a walbro i was going to install, but never got around to it, but i would be even richer than i already am. stock fpr, etc. as for altitude i live in the "dirty south"...aka the atl. i've definately got 450cc inj. they are bluetops and they have 450 molded to the sides...matching pictures posted in previous threads. the guy i got them from said they were cleaned and flow tested. they were really clean and i did test them to make sure they weren't sticking, but maybe they are flowing more at high boost.??..?

something i began thinking about recently is instead of hooking up the afc normally to adjust the map sensor...why not somehow hook it up just before the injectors and then use a missing link? the link would prevent the map from seeing boost and then the afc would truely, mathmatically correct the injectors, or have more control over the injectors.

i don't know...i can't explain it, but i'll keep on using my setup the way it is as long as it runs right and i'm getting good afr.

another reason i might run so rich is that i put my primary o2 sensor in the exhaust manifold in the stock location. maybe this extra heat that the turbo places on the manifold causes the o2 to provide more fuel. i do get cel at times for too rich.

damn it...you guys got me thinking too much now.

My AFC settings are alomst the same as yours. No I didn't copy them, I tried like everyone else says "Go -35 for low and high and then lean out gradually." I stay in the dirty dirty (New Orleans) and we are below see level.

I am running 450cc injectors, 8AN fuel line, Bosch fuel pump 405lph, AEM fuel rail, Aeromotive FPR. I have my O2 sensor in the turbo exhaust housing so that could also be a reason why the car runs rich.

Just to let you know that you aren't the only one out there with weird AFC settings.
